2021. For a long time, dealing with extremely oily skin and stubborn breakouts well into adulthood took a real toll on my confidence. After a lot of trial and error, I learned that healthy skin really comes down to three things you can control: mindful nutrition, regular exercise, and the right skincare routine. Conventional products and so-called "acne killers" only made my skin dependent on them, leading to a nasty boomerang effect whenever I took a break. Switching to natural skincare was a challenge—it required a tough three-week "detox" period where my skin actually looked worse before it got better. But the discipline paid off: the breakouts stopped, the compliments started coming in, and I gained a whole new sense of self-confidence. That personal journey is exactly why I founded MR HANDSOME. Initially, MR HANDSOME didn't have its own product line; instead, I focused on curating and distributing European niche brands.
2026. Five years is a long time. My original motivation remains the same: I want to help other men achieve healthy skin and sharpen their awareness of what’s actually in their products. A lot has changed, though. At the end of 2022, I launched the very first MR HANDSOME products. Today, I only carry my own brand. I have gradually expanded the range, and I personally decide exactly which products you'll find here. I design every single one of them myself, with a deep passion and attention to detail.
One thing that hasn't changed since 2021: MR HANDSOME is still a one-man operation. I’m hoping that changes soon.

- My favorite painting is "Wanderer above the Sea of Fog" by Caspar David Friedrich.
- I have a preference for antique European furniture.
- My favorite meal is arctic char with green asparagus and scrambled eggs.
- I prefer beer over wine.
- My favorite color is dark blue.
- I’m lucky to have a full head of naturally curly hair.
- I don't grow much facial hair, so I only need to shave once or twice a week.
- I hate ironing. I don’t even own an iron—I only buy non-iron shirts.
- I’m not married and don’t have children. I hope that changes someday.
