The Story of My Problem Skin

As the founder of MR HANDSOME, I want to give you an insight into my personal motivation and show you the reasons why I founded MR HANDSOME.

I have come a long way until I discovered my preference for natural men's grooming and natural cosmetics. In my youth and 20s, I was plagued by extremely oily and impure skin. I had severe acne well into adulthood and experienced relapses again and again.

It took a lot of effort and discipline to get my problem skin and its constant relapses under control. I laboriously learned that healthy skin largely depends on three factors that I can directly influence:

1. A healthy diet with little sugar, no flavor enhancers, and few or no meat and dairy products

2. Regular workouts and physical activity

3. The right skincare routine

For a long time, I used conventional skincare products marketed as "pimple killers." Undoubtedly, these products often had an effect, which unfortunately came with some side effects. To put it in my own words: conventional skincare products and their synthetic ingredients make your skin "addicted" and plunge it into direct dependence on unnatural active ingredients. Similar to a drug, your skin eventually needs more and more of it to cope. As soon as you stop using it, the relapses and boomerang effects become worse. When I realized this, I switched my skincare to natural cosmetics. In the beginning, it was frustrating for a few weeks, as my skin had to radically readjust and go through a kind of "withdrawal." During this phase, which lasted about three to four weeks, my skin temporarily deteriorated significantly again. The temptation to revert to my "old" skincare products was great. However, I showed discipline and have never regretted my decision since!

Natural cosmetics for men have positively changed my life

Since I started using targeted natural cosmetic products for my oily skin type, my skin has experienced significantly fewer relapses and has developed enormously positively. Today I receive many compliments for my skin, which used to be a trigger for personal complexes. I finally feel comfortable in my skin and experience a new feeling of personal well-being and increased self-confidence.
