💚 Information on our natural cosmetics
Many men wonder exactly what the terms natural cosmetics and organic cosmetics are all about. In the world of cosmetics, there are basically two main categories of products: Conventional cosmetics and natural cosmetics. Conventional cosmetics are not automatically bad, but often contain questionable and critical ingredients on a synthetic basis. Well-known examples of this are synthetic fragrances, which can promote and cause allergies, as well as inferior preservatives and petroleum-based ingredients. While manufacturers of conventional cosmetics have more leeway when it comes to the ingredients used, manufacturers of natural and organic cosmetics have to do without many critical ingredients. This applies in particular to natural cosmetics and organic cosmetics with European certification. So if a man is not familiar with the ingredients and does not want to concern himself intensively with them, then natural cosmetics for men with European certification are a safe choice to keep a large number of questionable ingredients away from his own skin.
Organic cosmetics are a step up from natural cosmetics. Organic cosmetics are virtually the Champions League of natural cosmetics and must meet stricter requirements regarding the origin of the ingredients used. Note: Natural cosmetics for men must contain a high proportion of plant-based ingredients. In the case of organic cosmetics for men, a high proportion of the plant-based ingredients must also come from controlled organic farming!
As there is no standardized regulation for the term natural cosmetics, the best you can do is orientate yourself on the corresponding natural cosmetics certificates and quality seals. At MR HANDSOME you will find an exquisite selection of authentic natural cosmetics for men with European certification. So you can be sure that only honest, safe and high-quality natural cosmetics for men come into contact with your skin.
The majority our natural cosmetic products for men are vegan. There are a few products that use beeswax or honey from certified organic farming. In principle, the following applies to certified natural cosmetics: Animal ingredients are only permitted if they are not part of the animal, but are produced by the animal itself, i.e. milk and honey, and our natural cosmetics for men are guaranteed to be produced without animal testing and without animal suffering. You can also see on each product page whether a product is vegan.

Natural cosmetics contain different active ingredients to conventional skincare products and your skin needs some time to get used to them. When switching to natural cosmetics, it takes around 2-4 weeks for your skin to renew itself and get used to the new ingredients. Especially during this transition period, skin reactions and minor blemishes can occur. You should keep calm here: This is completely normal and will stop again. As soon as your skin has got used to natural cosmetics, it will thank you in the long term! Avoiding questionable ingredients pays off in the long term and leads to a healthier complexion and increased well-being of your skin.
Have you opted for a conscious and natural lifestyle and want to switch to natural cosmetics? Great, we can help you! To start with, you should go through your bathroom and sort out all products that are not natural cosmetics. However, it is not at all necessary to dispose of them immediately! It's neither good for the environment nor for your wallet. Above all, you should use up all the products that you particularly like using and then think about the areas in which you want to make the switch. A step-by-step approach makes perfect sense. Try to gradually replace all products with natural cosmetics, starting with your face and body care, for example, and it is important that you gradually replace all products in your bathroom with natural cosmetics. You can start with your facial care, for example, and as soon as your skin has become accustomed to the new care products, tackle other areas, e.g. hair care and body care!
