The Good Room is a tribute to an old Irish tradition. Until the 1960s, almost every middle-class Irish household had what was known as a "good room." The good room was usually located at the front of the house and was kept immaculately clean and tidy throughout the year. The good room had the most beautiful furniture and was made especially hospitable and inviting. The Good Room was only used at Christmas or on special occasions. The Good Room also served as a retreat to read a sophisticated book or enjoy a particularly strong drink.

The Good Room soap with kaolin clay has a super smooth feel on the skin and smells distinctively of leathery and smoky notes. A real treat for downtime in the shower!

The Super Sized soaps from The Black Stuff all weigh between 150-170g.
